does the same on panel likewise, every bit Microsoft don't take a file verification like steam, epic and many others, if you cancel an update that has already started it wipes the game as it has no way of knowing which files it has done and therefore cannot verify the integrity of the game.

one time a game starts updating on xbox app and and so cancelled it is so removed and a total download is required.

What am absolute pile of junk. More fool me for being stupid enough to go dorsum to using the xbox app and Windows shop.

What really irks is that the xbox app does let you to break a download, it's the ms shop and its updates that doesn't.

System restore didn't work.

Someone needs to feedback just how awful the ms store and xbox app are. Peradventure i mean solar day Ms will realise its a pc not a console and provide flexibility and functionality.

Programs and apps downloaded from the Microsoft Store are installed in the post-obit path by default: C:/Program Files/WindowsApps (Hidden items). To check subconscious items, open This PC, click View and select Subconscious items.

To have over the folder;

- Here is the path y'all should follow: C:Program Files.

- Go to View and check the box next to Subconscious items.

- Locate the Windows Apps binder and correct-click on it.

- Select Properties from the drop-down menu.Select Security. And then select Avant-garde.

- Go to Possessor. There click Change.Enter Microsoft account email address.

- Check the box next to 'Replace owner on subcontainers and objects'.

- Utilize your changes.

- Locate and click your business relationship in the list. Click Edit.

- Check the box next to Full Control.

Thanks. Given it had disappeared from my apps and also the free space on disk had increased significantly, I just started a redownload. It wouldn't be a bad idea to allow pausing of large updates on windows update.
